Those interested in investing in Kraśnik region can count on a number of support initiatives, including tax incentives and the assistance of local investment support institutions.
1. City tax incentives
The Regulation of the Council of Ministers of August 5, 2008, which regulated property and vehicle tax exemptions as the regional investment support initiative, expired on December 31, 2013.
In response, the city officials prepared a project of a regulation allowing the exemption from the property tax as a local investment incentive. The project will be submitted to the City Council in early 2014. The proposed regulation is based on the European Commission guidelines related to the regional assistance in the years 2014 -2020, which were published in the Official Journal of the European Union C 209 on July 23, 2013.
The proposed regulations will allow property tax exemptions for newly erected buildings or their parts and the land on which they are built. The tax exemption will be available to investors using the property to operate a business in the city of Kraśnik and creating new jobs.
2. Tax exemptions at Tarnobrzeska Specjalna Strefa Ekonomiczna EURO-PARK WISŁOSAN Podstrefa Kraśnik
Public assistance is offered to offset the costs of a new investment project and to facilitate the creation of new jobs.
The investors are eligible for CIT exemption under the terms of regional assistance program. The assistance is available in the following cases:
offsetting the cost of a new investment project – the amount of relief is calculated as the coefficient of the maximum allowable amount of assistance in the given area and the cost of the planned investment, or
creation of new jobs - the amount of relief is calculated as the coefficient of the maximum allowable amount of assistance in the given area and the projected cost of labor over a two-year period.
Maximum allowable regional relief level in the voivodship has been set at 50%, but it has been raised to 70% for micro and small businesses and to 60% for medium-size companies.
